Flavor: Moderately tart, rich figs
Complements: Salad, fruit, chicken, beef, pork, lamb,salmon, goat cheese
Oil Pairings: Blood Orange, Chipotle, Cilantro & Roasted Onion, Frantoio, Persian Lime, Roasted Sesame Oil
Ideas:
- Brush on cantaloupe or honeydew melon wedges, then top with sliced prosciutto and freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano
- Combine with Chipotle EVOO, then brush on salmon beef, chicken or lamb chops prior to baking or grilling
- Combine with Blood Orange or Persian Lime EVOO, then drizzle on a spinach salad with sliced water chestnuts and grapefruit slices
