The Spicy Olive’s Sweet and Sour Chicken

Ingredients
  • 6 chicken leg quarters
  • 3Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/3cup The SPicy Olive’s Golden Pineapple white balsamic
  • 1/2tsp sriracha hot sauce
  • 1tsp cornstarchfor thickening
  • 2Tbsp The Spicy Olive’s Garlic Olive Oilor our Black Garlic and Ginger olive oil for more Asian Flavor
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, Pineapple white balsamic vinegar, sriracha and cornstarch in a non-stick pan until everything is well incorporated. Cook in a saucepan for 5 minutes over medium heat, set aside.
  3. Wash chicken and completely dry with a towel. In a frying pan add the Garlic Infused Olive Oil and cook chicken over medium high heat for 10 minutes or until all sides are browned.
  4. Place chicken in a (foiled) baking sheet, add the sweet and sour sauce and coat evenly. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes uncovered so that the sauce will caramelize.
  5. Serve hot over rice or with veggies.
